Very satisfied with the results. This power setting seems to give consistant results, with good contrast and dark enough.

Lessons Learned

Carbon Deposit. When burning at lower speed, lower power, it was giving a very superficial engraving and was producing more carbon deposit (black residue). This made the work very fragile to the touch and would wipe off with a bit of water while also staining the wood around the engraving. Higher speed and higher power resolved the issue, as the engraving is cleaner and deep enough to protect the work. The work can be air brushed (air only) to remove any carbon deposit still remaining, and then clear coated with a spray if desired.
